- Songs For Years Collective, Song #6 - Left Turns
Song #6 of 44. Another low-fi iPad demo hence the guitar being up way too loud in the mix. Enjoy!

- Songs For Years Collective, Song #5 - Oh John
Here's song 5 of 44. I stole the title from a Jeremy Enigk song that was stuck in my head this week. And the not-at-all-vague David Bowie references just sort of happened while writing lyrics at 4am, so I left them in. Enjoy and #DavidBowieForever.

- Songs For Years Collective, Song #4 - I'm Home
I've been really good lately at writing the first 50% of a song and then...stopping. Finally getting back on track with this Songs For Years Collective project. This one wrote itself last night in about an hour. Super low-fi demo on my old iPad. Enjoy.

- Last Friday at Riving Loom
Last Friday night at Riving Loom. Me, David Houston, Allyson and Kevin Seconds.
David shared stories about his amazing career — recording Latoya Jackson, The Temptations being super pro in the studio — and made his share of wisecracks. Kevin and I took turns playing guitar solos on each others songs. We all sang on each others songs. And laughed a LOT, both at the show and at the post-show-food hi-jinx.

- Solo show at Riving Loom this Friday
Hi all —
I’m playing a solo show with Kevin Seconds and his always rad wife Allyson this Friday Sept 20. Don’t be fooled by the “Hank and Lulu” moniker — it’s Kev and Allyson, I promise. :)

- Honeypower at Chalk It Up Festival
Pictured: Honeypower yesterday at the Chalk It Up Festival. Both Warren and I violating the “no shorts on stage” rule of rock. There’s an exception to that if it’s over 95 degrees, right?
While loading my car for the show, I sliced my left hand open pretty good…about an hour before we were supposed to play — pretty sure THAT qualifies me for an exception to the “no shorts” rule, yes?
